Modeled visually on the SIG Sauer P226 but reduced roughly 10 percent in size, the Mosquito delivers a familiar control layout and easy handling in a lightweight .22 LR package. The blowback-operated, semi-automatic pistol pairs an aluminum-zinc alloy slide with a durable polymer frame for low weight and dependable function. Controls mirror full-size SIG ergonomics and include a left-side takedown lever, a left decocking lever, reversible magazine catch, and ambidextrous manual safety. An integral safety lock at the rear of the magazine well provides an extra layer of inaction when engaged.
